Student Council’s MHI Project and in lieu of National Eating Disorders Awareness GA

We understand that a lot of students may know people who are either going through one, people who have been through one, or they may even have experienced one themselves. To help provide an informative and comforting environment for those students, we reached out to alum who have expertise in treating eating disorders or have personally experienced one to provide a factor of relatability and reassurance for students. The alums who are speaking is Kirstin Johnson ’16 and Ellen Landers Levisetti, Ph.D. ’92, as well as a brother of an alum, Norman Kim, Ph.D. 

The event will be structured as an informational part in the first 10-15 minutes with slides, followed by an introduction/panel with our guest speakers and a slot for students to share their stories and/or ask questions to the speakers.
