The Writing Center

The Writing Center was founded in November 2004 to assist all IMSA students in developing their writing, and to assist faculty and staff in integrating writing into their instructional process. We provide peer tutoring one-on-one in an informal, friendly setting, in addition to arranging study groups, workshops, discussion forums, and other events geared toward the study and appreciation of writing. IMSA staff are also welcome to use our tutors and resources to help improve their writing.

The Writing Center website is currently under construction, so check back soon to find out more information about our program, as well as links to other writing centers and writing resources online, news and information about literacy at IMSA and across the nation, and other exciting features.

While our website is under construction, we are open for business and ready to help at ANY stage of the writing process, from brainstorming and thesis statement creation to revising a paper that has already received a grade from a teacher.
