IMSA Announces STEM Preschool Program Grant from The Boeing Company

Aurora, IL – The Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is pleased to announce it has received a grant from The Boeing Company for its Little STEAMers program, a Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) based curricular program for preschool children ages 3 to 5.

“Little STEAMers seeks to fill the need for connected, integrative learning opportunities that encourage academic and intellectual growth within the preschool classroom,” says Dr. Norman Robinson III, IMSA’s Chief Innovation and Education Officer.

“We are grateful to The Boeing Company for their dedication to STEM enrichment for early learners, readiness and experiential learning opportunities,” adds Robinson.

Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is the world’s leading teaching and learning laboratory for imagination and inquiry and an esteemed three-year residential high school. Nearly 700 Illinois 10-12th graders currently live at the academy in Aurora, Illinois. Students hail from across Illinois and are enrolled in tuition-free, rigorous college preparatory classes.
