2026 IMSA Student Survey
Challenge Success is a non-profit affiliated with the Stanford University Graduate School of Education.
The Challenge Success – Stanford Surveys of School Experiences are online surveys that ask students and parents to share their perspectives on a range of topics related to their school lives. These areas include perspectives on homework, extracurricular activities, free time, sleep, physical health, stress related to school and academics, belonging, academic engagement, teacher support, and parent expectations. The results of the student survey are intended to help your school identify students’ perspectives on what the school currently does well and areas for growth. The data and findings can be useful tools in guiding practice and policy changes.
The results of the Challenge Success survey have led directly or indirectly to institutional changes at IMSA. A few recent examples include the addition of Fall Break to the academic calendar and the creation of the Support & Engagement (S&E) period.
Help IMSA identify and measure students’ perspectives on the Academy’s strengths and areas for growth.

Challenge Success also provides IMSA’s senior administrators with an executive summary of the results.
IMSA’s senior administrators and Office of Institutional Research (OIR) are also able to conduct their own analyses of the results through the provided dashboard.
An executive summary of the results along with some initial action items will be shared with the IMSA community within 8-10 weeks of survey administration.
