Dr. Paul Gaszak
Dean of Academics and Equity
Dr. Paul Gaszak has been a dedicated member of the IMSA community since 2020, initially serving as Dean of Student Support and Equity before transitioning to his current role as Dean of Academics and Equity in Fall 2023. In this capacity, Dr. Gaszak is committed to fostering academic excellence and equity, ensuring that all students thrive in an environment that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
With over 14 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Gaszak has held a range of leadership roles, including Chief Academic Officer, Dean, Department Chair, University Senate President, and faculty member. His extensive background has equipped him with the expertise to lead initiatives that bridge the gap between equity and academic success.
Dr. Gaszak is a passionate advocate for experiential education and serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Experiential Education. He has shared his insights at numerous academic conferences, including the National Consortium for Secondary STEM Schools (NCSSS), the Society for Experiential Education (SEE), the Yes We Must Coalition, the Experiential Learning Leadership Institute (ELLI), and the Conference on Higher Education Pedagogy (CHEP).
Dr. Gaszak earned his Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership from National Louis University. His professional journey reflects a steadfast dedication to advancing education and supporting student success, both within and beyond the IMSA community.
