College Day, sponsored by the College and Academic Counseling Office and Parent Association Committee, is held annually and consists of a keynote speaker and presentations from college representatives. Junior students are encouraged to attend the fair with their parents. The IMSA College and Academic Counseling (CAC) team coordinates and hosts the event.
35th Annual College Day – 2024
The annual event was held on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Admissions Counselors and Representatives from 55 colleges and universities across the country, along with a representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC), were present for the college fair. After the fair, 12 college representatives conducted individual classroom presentations or served on the international or small college panels. Additionally, StriveScan was introduced at the fair for the second time, allowing college reps and students to connect easily using a QR code.
