Dr. Rebecca L. Sherrick has served as president of Aurora University since 2000 after serving for 20 years as a faculty member and senior administrator at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She attended Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois for doctoral studies on a William Randolph Hearst Fellowship and completed her Ph.D. in history with specializations in American and Latin American history. She is active in a wide range of professional and civic organizations.
“An important component of the IMSA mission is the advancement of STEM learning throughout the State of Illinois,” said Sherrick. “I look forward to being part of this larger effort to help students prepare for vital leadership roles in the STEM economy.”
